TCCF for a Better Future

Fund Types

We believe in empowering people to become catalysts of change in their communities. Your donation can help us provide support to several causes. The purpose and use of a fund gives the donor the ability to be involved as much or as little as desired. Look at the descriptions below to find what best fits your desires

Donor-advised Fund (DAF)

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes.

They are the fastest-growing giving method and tax-efficient way to manage charitable donations. Donor Advised Funds allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time.

Field of Interest Fund

When a Field of Interest Fund is created, the donor has a more specific charity, organization or use in mind. This type of fund can specifically benefit a hospital, church or school and beyond. It may be setup to assist with a specific need such as education, beautification, food insecurities or community improvement projects.

Scholarship

Scholarship funds are a very traditional fund that assist those looking to further their education. They may be very broad or very specific depending on the donor who setup the agreement. For example: A donor may choose to create a scholarship for students interested in attending a trade school for plumbing. They may setup a scholarship for students attending a specific college with interests in architecture.

How do I start a fund?

Become part of our organization to help create a better future.  Call our Director at (785) 460-9152  or stop by the office to visit about your interests and ideas. The right fund type will be selected and a fund agreement will be setup. Your contribution will start the fund and watch it work in our community. Per our fund guidelines a 2% administrative fee is collected annually to maintain and service your fund.
