Thomas County Community Foundation
There are many ways you can make a lasting impact through planned giving. Many of our donors make deferred gifts by including us in their estate plans. In those plans, they specify the Thomas County Community Foundation as the recipient of their gift of stock, cash, real estate, insurance policies, IRAs or other assets. Some donors have chosen to initiate other gift plans, such as charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts, all allowing you to minimize your taxes and still be able to leave an inheritance to your loved ones. Our staff is willing to work with you and your advisor to help you plan a gift that is most meaningful to you. We want to "Forever Better" the lives of those who live in Thomas County.
We have a unique opportunity through the Dane G. Hansen Foundation. A professional estate-planner named, John Griffith, has been hired on our behalf to help setup plans for those who would like to leave charitable gift in Thomas County. We are a charitable organization working to support the community's needs across Thomas County. Our primary focus is on providing support to forever better our educational experiences, healthcare needs, and arts and cultural opportunities. We believe that by investing in these basic necessities, we can help make our community thrive. With your support, we can continue to make a positive impact in our area and help those in need.
We thank the Dane G. Hansen and the Patterson Family Foundations for their coordinated matching grant opportunities during our Match Month this past April. Our community rose to the challenge to raise $70,000 and because of our generous community we were able to receive $100,000 from the Hansen Foundation and $70,000 from the Patterson Family Foundation! It was an incredible month of growth!
